Joshua Bodjanac

I’m an old soul- a dreamer, and a visionary. As the third eldest of ten children, I spent my childhood on our family ranch and worked with my parents in their upholstery shop. I was immersed into the artistic world
early; witnessing seasoned designers in action, and learning hands-on craftsmanship from esteemed artisans. My younger self always knew that interior design was my life’s purpose.

My design lineage began with my grandfather who was a certified master upholsterer from former Yugoslavia. Immigrating to Los Angeles in 1961, he provided upholstery needs to American Presidents, Saudi Princes, and dignitaries. Embracing old-world craftsmanship, my parents continue to uphold the tradition of upholstery, fostering my innate love for design.

I graduated with honors from The Art Institute of Colorado, with my portfolio influencing the institute’s interior design curriculum. I was first published at the age of seventeen, and in my early twenties, I worked for various architectural and design firms in Denver and Mexico City. At twenty-three, I designed and managed projects that surpassed 50 million dollars with ventures in California, Colorado, Texas, Italy, Mexico and Australia. In 2021, LA Style Magazine recognized my talent in a feature alongside Akon and Oprah in The Most Influential Issue.

I choose to celebrate the art of living well, believing that true luxury is focused on treasuring those around us and surrounding ourselves with fine things. Our interiors and environments set the stage for life to happen as it impacts how we perceive ourselves and the world. I value intentional design.

Energized by the desire to bring a piece of heaven to earth, I founded JB Noble Interiors to compose livable atmospheres with sophistication. Each design is tailored to intertwine with our client’s vision. Many times we become cherished friends, as we turn concept into reality. JB Noble is a fresh perspective inspired by choice. From homes to hotels and yachts, our designs are timeless and anchored with quality, transparency, and integrity.

Tarae’s impact extends beyond aesthetics- he’s a force for positive change dedicated to enriching lives and inspiring others to embrace their own boldness. As a fundamental asset to JB Noble Interiors, he plays a key role managing logistics and vendor communications.

Born in Rhode Island, Tarae discovered the creative world through film and was recognized by the State for his work. Exploring possibilities, he moved to Los Angeles and became part of the JB Noble team in 2022. With an intrigue for interior design, Tarae finds himself wrapped up in the curiosity of discovery.

Tarae is dedicated to creating experiences that resonate deeply with those he interacts with. As a person with a high regard to ethics and loyalty, Tarae is passionate about education, travel, and yes- sports cars. He is a simple soul.

Providing efficiency and reflecting the core values of JB Noble Interiors, Tarae brings needed support and dynamic to our clients and design systems.

``Roland and I have had the pleasure of engaging with Joshua over the past 5 years. Joshua is an imaginative, out of the box thinker with superb design skills. He brings a fresh approach to each project and has the keen ability to listen to his clients and truly bring their ideas to life.

We purchased a brand-new condo just prior to COVID which required a complete build-out. The project was made difficult as it kicked off during the height of the international COVID lockdown while we resided thousands of miles away in the Midwest, restricted from travel to California. We gave Joshua complete authority to design, manage demolition and construction, hire and supervise multiple trade professionals AND procure goods for the entire condo.

When finally allowed to travel, we arrived to see our beautiful, fully furnished home in “live-in” condition. We were awestruck, not only by the innovative solutions (solving a few problems made by the builder), and by well-placed small touches made by Joshua and his team as well. Josh’s efforts made for a truly joy filled living environment.

We have been so impressed with Josh that we engaged him to undertake a second project for us. He continues to bring new ideas to each project, focus on overdelivering on expectations and remains diligent on timelines and budgets.

He is smart, energetic, always a pleasure to work with and has become a true friend.
